Hello, does anyone have any cd's with the Tibetian Singing bowls? If so, how do you like it? I recently received ( by request) a cd with what sounded like water over a waterfall very beautiful, and these beautiful bowls being sounded, very relaxing.. The tapes are supposed to help you align the right and left brain. You get a bunch of tapes and they even make you tapes with your voice doing affirmations underneath these singing bowl sounds..
It is supposed to take you into deep levels of meditation and ( like a Zen monk, lol) I must say if that dude hadn't been talking through it, I would have been zoning.. There was actualy five free minutes at the end of the speal and it was very intoxicating.
Anyway, there about 173.00 and I was wonderin heck, if its the bowls that are making me feel like this, why don't I try a little bowl therapy for 18.00 instead? Anyone have any good artists ( of the bowl variety) that they can suggest?
I have on order, "Singing bowls of Shangri La" Can' t miss with something like that now can we? lol.. And 700 years of music in Tibet. A bunch of monks toning and chanting and singing with the bowls hummin and such, I think from that Brad Pitt Movie about Tibet..
I hope that i'm set here but if anyone knows a good cd please let me know.. :}
I just bought a new stero and i'm able to use my headphones to get better quality and i'd sure like to zone with some good listenins..
Have a blessed one,
Jahnavi

Namaste Jahnavi,
"Tibetan Chakra Meditations" is most wonderful. It helps balance the chakras. There are no vocals...
There is a "song" for each chakra and they are in the order of root to crown.
Be careful if you choose to send reiki to the chakras as you listen. I got "off track" and ended up feeling quite strange. lol It's best for me to lay still and let the bowls do the "work". :-)
Of course, mindfulness would help cure that... sometimes I just like to "float" and let the brain rest.
There is a "clearing" at the end to "bring me back again" lol
Hope this helps,
In Light and Love,
Many blessings to your day...

I believe it is by Ben Scott and Christa Michell.
Enjoy!
