The Reiki Cafe 

For the past few weeks, I have not been able to see past this world of illusion. Maybe I have been working too hard, taking things too seriously, but I feel a large part of me is missing.

Words of encouragement, and maybe a postcard from the enlightened would be appreciated.

While I won't make any claims to enlightenment (thought I'd point that out before someone else did it for me ;-)*twinkle*twinkle*)...

Sometimes thosr fallow periods seem to work for me as "resting places." Things settle out and integrate below the surface, as it were...and work progresses without my being consciously aware of it.

As for being "lost in Samsara..."...is there any place that god is not?

Best way to deal with this is to do some self-treatment.

Cos ya know what Reiki does to Ill usion, don't ya?

You should also try that other great source of healing:
In Japanese its called 'Sho-ko-ra' or 'Cho-ko-ree-to'
in English: chocolate!

It seems to me that the past few weeks, mainly the beginning of the year until now has been full of mis-haps, accidents, turmoil, arguments, separations, disillusionment, etc., for my friends, family, acquaintances, and myself. I have been hearing from all corners.. And it is never about just one thing at a time, it is coming in groups.

You are obviously a person who feels energy changes greatly. Know that you are not alone.

I think that we (the reiki we!) who are trying to remain loving and put love in the world and do for others are getting an extra burden from those who are not, those who are always asking for more. Which means that we don't always have enough energy and time for ourselves.

Perhaps you need to take that day, or even that hour and just do something for yourself. Something that you have been putting off.

Your post rang a bell with me, and after thinking about the subject further, I think I come to realize what's going on.

There are a lot of changes at work, people leaving (one of them was a good friend) and new people to get used to. It's a time of adjustment, and is not leaving energy for spiritual exploration. I realize now, it's just a natural process which I must accept and adapt to. No fault of my own.

I will take your advice to heart, and thanks for the insight.
