I am planning a working holiday to Australia and I was wondering if anyone had done this before and could pass on any comments or useful information.

My initial base will be Brisbane, any info?

Australia is at the top of my list for a next trip. I am looking to visit the Territories during the anual aboriginal music and dance festival that is in October, I believe.

But, sorry, I have not been there. One of my colleagues was there a year ago and has said the scuba diving at the barrier reef was fabulous and the people very warm and friendly everywhere he went - he spen some time near Brisbane, I believe.
