The Reiki Cafe 

I have an interesting question for you. My Reiki Master says that spirit guides, Reiki guides, are actually former incarnations of yourself, they are acting like your higher self. Anyone heard this before? It was new to me and quite perplexing, not that I dont believe her but I would like to have a discussion about it.

Interesting statement. Perhaps your RM is saying that what some people perceive as spirit guides is really, in fact, just their own higher self or their own intuition. But that wouldn't discount, in my opinion, the existence of spirit guides or Reiki guides as entities other than ourselves. Sometimes trying to figure out the difference can be challenging...but then again it all leads to our own higher awareness and growth.

I'll be interested in the thoughts of others.

I'm not sure any of us is going to know for sure the answer to that while we are here in this lifetime. But the bottom line is.....does it really matter?

I just completed Richard Bach's book ONE. He throws out the idea that all of our lives are running at the same time in a different dimension. He visits his other lives as a kind of a guide. Telling them to really, really consider their choices before making them.

I also know of a psychic that went to her other past lives and healed them which in turn will heal her physical ailments in this life.

The possibilities are endless.

Isn't this life grand.

Fascinating idea! We can never know for sure, just as we really can't know for sure if we really have had previous lives, or are they going on simultaneously, or are we just resonating with another soul, so we feel like "one".

I did look at my guides and feel that what your RM said COULD be a possibility. As I am studying Sacred Contracts right now and looking at archetypes, I can see that my three major guides could be aspects of my own soul.....

My RM has told stories of travelling psychically to other parts of the world to heal a part of her self that was actually another person living currently...

As others have said, the possibilities are endless, and isn't life a great adventure?

my thought on this is that all past,present,and our future
spirits are avlable to us at any time.
(present spirits)= all spirits on earth at this time.

Yes, one and the same.
I did not know about the book, and my husband's guides, or higher self led him to it for my birthday last October. It is just now I am getting to it. I am enjoying it very much...it is allowing me to look at myself in a whole new way. AND....leading me back to one of my first intellectual passions, from my teen years.... Carl Jung.
There is a Myss website with a chatrooom that has subtopics, one of which is archetypes.
