Just this morning on my 2 mile walk (uhg!), my walking partner pointed out the beauty of trees! So lush and green, strong, and energy-filled. So I second this thought, and add.....NOTICE COLOURS!!

Thank you, my friend. I have missed being here but seem to have little time any more. What was that they say about Reiki 2? Well, I seem to be going in more directions than there are paths...but learning to seperate the wheat from the chaff...along the way...
Know what you mean about trees..I love to hear the rustle of the wind in them.....

Dear Bluemamma,

It is so easy to take what is around us for granted. When we live by the sea we may long for the desert, forgetting the gifts that surround us.
I remember how much delight I experienced, as a child, finding a dandelion in the grass, or a butterfly landing on a flower or lightening bugs. I could sit for hours with a large rock, cracking open small stones to Ouuu & Ahhh over the beauty of the inside.....(An adult might say that I was playing with weeds & bugs & making a mess...)When we're preoccupied with all the weighty thoughts carried with us along our path, its easy to miss even the color purple...and I wonder how I will answer one day If God asks me why I chose not to see that beautiful field of flowers when that is exactly what my spirit needed? I have come to realize that experiencing Joy is a choice...as is seeing the color purple.
