Came across this and it made my walk through the park today a completely different experience :-)

Dear Eaglestar,
How lovely...if a mere blade of grass has its own angel, then surely we must have a chorus of angels bending over us each day!!!

Holobon,
Exactly! As I was out walking after reading that I kept seeing all these angels busy at work with the trees, flowers etc - and yes, as for us, how fantastic! A friend reminded me also, that when someone we know dies to remember that we now have an angel we know personally...:-)

Dear Eaglestar,
Yes, that is exactly what a dear fiend said to me when my father passed away...it was a great comfort.
I thank my angel..knowing that the poor dear is overworked & must have pulled out most of his hair by now, trying to keep me safe!! I think he deserves a break & probably would love a rest..probably longing for that blade of grass right now!! HeHe....

Holobon,
That made me smile - I know mine are all exasperated at how often I forget to 'listen'... do they draw "straws" for the grass duty do you think...

Dear Eaglestar,
I know we think of angels as cherubic sweet figures but..as I read your post I pictured a bunch of angels running for a single blade of unattended grass....each praying to be the first to arrive...BAGL....I certainly hope my angel has a GREAT sense of humour otherwise he is one very frustrated angel!!! ROTFL....

Dear Holobon
That really made me laugh - Ive now started thinking about their being a sliding scale of grass locations for angels - the ones who are not doing their job so well get the patch of grass behind the cow-shed, no sunlight, etc...... I am sure our angels know we are not really being unkind - they want us to see the joy in each day...lucky angel who gets the special "grass" bagl...

Dear Eaglestar,
Oh my, thats great!!! What a great start my morning is getting!!! Thank you SO much....
I truly believe that laughter rings the clearest in Heaven...I have been through a "Dark Night of the Soul" and know that laughter is meant to uplift us & trust that all spiritual beings can tell that I mean no disrespect. In my mind's eye, I see the resemblance between angels & young children...the innocence in their play & infectious laughter...so I see that scramble as more of a companionable fun race than a more adult competitive version. And I marvel in that innocence.....

Dear Holobon
I have to confess this item has taken on a life of its own in my mind - I actually had a dream about it last night where the angels were having three legged races and in one scene they resembled a Monty Python sketch called The Grannies (hope you know what Im talking about as it would lose something in the description!) I know they are laughing with me over all this and that they feel happy that we are at least thinking about them - too often we forget how beautiful their presence in our lives is. I can actually hear the laughter in my ears today - I keep giggling for no reason - I think I am going to have a good day today - hope you do too.

Dear Holobon
I have a calandar with angels on it and a saying for each day - I just discovered next week we are due for one which says "Angels take our laughter and smiles to return to us when we forget how" Neat huh - we shall be keeping them busy right now!
