The Reiki Cafe 

HI All:Not sure if this is the correct board to post this or not......I am struggling with money issues,beliefs,worth I guess....I need to get a paying job with steady paycheck.I took time off to be at home with my daughter when she was born...she is now in Kindergarten and I could get a part time job..we have a lot of debt from going from 2 incomes to one...The problem is I really wanted to make my livng with Reiki,,,not sure how...There do not seem to be any job's in the area.I was working at a "perfect"job before Anna,it is no longer in business in the way it was..moved away...I was able to give Reiki treatments along with utilizing some other talents...
I would love some Reiki sent my way...I am so confused not even sure if you understand how hard this time is for me,I feel so overwhelmed trying to tell you what is going on...If I get a paying job that I am not able to do my Reiki..when will I have time to be Mom,Wife Mother Friend to myself and others and still have time to get in Reiki treatments?I would love to hear from others who have faced this..Thank you so much for taking the time to read this...I would appreciate any feedback or Reike sent my way so I can come from a detached place of calm..so I can see my options...When something is so highly charged for me it is hard to relax and let the insight flow..Fear blocks ...i know this..I need help though..So i am asking...

Whoahhh now.. Slow down a bit. You do sound frantic in some ways.. :}

Abundance is a toughie it seems because we all have to pay bills. I too work with this issue being a single mom and all.
There is something you can do to help yourself. First off, remember you are not alone, and I don't mean family. Spirit is with you always in all ways. Remember as you worry about this that its ok to speak this over with spirit.. Act as if you are talking to a dear friend about the issue. Let yourself see it and feel it. Ask yourself what does your fear of debts do for you.. There is you know, no peace when you are in such a state.. There is no way to feel good about the present when you are so stretched out into the future!

Remember to affirm to your Creator. "We are Co-creators in my life.. I ask for assitance please with my financial situation and I want to affirm to you (spirit) right now that I'm open to anything, any avenue, and any door you have open for me NOW.
I do not need to know the routes exactly, I don't need to over analize this to death, I do not need to worry. If I focus only on the fact that I know doors are opening as I speak then doors WILL remain open to me in many ways.

Our Creator says, "You need only ask and I will clear a path for you"
This is promised. It is law. You are powerful beyong measure. Remember that in every moment you are creating. How does your creation look? you can day dream if you like you know. :} Know that you can do anything as long as you keep your eye on the fact that you are worthy to recieve, and it is So.

Hi Cathy,

My first Reiki One class presented Reiki as a job opportunity & I was raring to go....it has not worked out that way yet. (Actually, time has taught me that that is a good thing as I have learned much I could not see in the beginning of my Reiki journey & that makes me a more prepared practitioner). I have seen Masters give up much to bring Reiki into their lives with very little monetary compensation. Although this may not put food on the table or pay bills it is a worthy endeavor. But a worthy endeavor is not the same thing as a self supporting path.
Reiki Masters may feel that they have a great deal of responsibility on their shoulders. People who are in need of healing often have needs at inopportune moments and may require more time than seems reasonable. So it is not necessarily an easy road & for some, not a strict 9 to 5 thing. One has to be able to set boundaries. And some people will pay for other things/debts before they pay a healer. Yikes, you have to collect the money, too??? A business is after all, a business. Yet there are those that do well at it, so it can be done. It is not always what practitioners expect, however.
So, if it is not coming to you, I would suggest two things, that it is not meant to be your path at least at this moment...or you are projecting fear & negativity & attracting that to you. Stop for a moment & see in your mind what you want in symbolic form, as a picture. See this every day in your mind's eye & you will bring it toward you. However, be sure that this is what you want. Like the old adage, Be careful what you wish/pray for!!

As for not understanding, we all face times of confusion & self doubt..do not be so hard on yourself..do not punish yourself. Stop & see the good in you & in your life.

I am jobless for almost two months now & so I can relate to your story. Believe in yourself & do not let yourself slide into negative thinking...change the things that you think & say to yourself.
