Hi everyone

I've just come in from a dusk walk in the woods. Its been a beautiful evening here in Fife.

Anyway I saw, for the first time, a purple 'aura' 'haze' around some of the trees. Of course when I tried to look again or at other trees I didn't see anything. I wondered if others of you have seen tree auras - I expected them to be green (if that's indeed what I saw) :-}}} !!!

Also at one point while I was trying to see the tree auras I became aware of a haze around myself - a bit like a heat haze - it was really interesting but distracted me a bit from looking at the trees!! (no colour)

I don't know what I expect anyone to say, I just wanted to ask if this was what other people see, I think. I feel a bit bemused :-}}}

I have not seen any auras around trees or people, wish I did though. Anyway, I have read and heard of the trees talking to people. There was a girl in my high school who said the trees would tell you things if you would only listen. I have read about this too in books written by Native Americans.
Sometime, I will try it. As anything that is worthwhile, it may take a time or two, but I believe that yes, trees can talk so why not have an aura too?

What a beautiful walk....you made me wish I could have been there :)

All living beings have an aura around them...indeed anything made up of energy has one.

I haven't been lucky enough to see an aura around a tree yet, but I have begun to sometimes see auras around people. What you say about the heat haze...this is the first layer of the etheric aura and also what I saw first. Keep practicing and gradually you may be able to see some colour in the aura too. It sounds like you're doing just wonderfully :)

Wow, that does sound like a beautiful walk. I have never seen aura's around trees, but I find myself very drawn to trees. Many times while walking in the woods, I can "hear" a tree calling for help. And sure enough if you look around it, there is some sort of healing that needs to be done. :) The first time it happened, there ended up being a nail in a tree. I gave it one hard tug, and it didn't budge at all, it was in deep. But the second slight pull, and the tree gave it to me. (I still have the nail!)

Every once in a while, I get a chance to see someones aura. At odd moments, and with no understanding. :) I still welcome the opportunity though. :)

I would see tree aura's as a kid. Then after age ten I didn't see them any longer.
I was down at the library six months ago and flipped through a book. I found a picture of an american indian. I recognized the picture of that native american as my childhood playmate. It was then.. forty five years later that I realized his name was White Eagle and he was and is my spirit guide.

Once, while driving in the city, I "heard" a soft crying. I looked around and noticed it was coming from a small potted tree that was in the back of the truck in front of me at the stop light. Needless to say I was a little shocked.
I began to "talk" to the tree. It was scared because it had just been taken away from it's family. I just told him(it was definately a he) that the people were taking him to a new home and would take care of him. I also told him that very few trees ever get teh chance to ride in a car and he should enjoy it. The light changed and all I could hear was......"weeeeeeeeeee" and laughter.
It still makes me tear up when I think of it.

This is very interesting to me, unfortunately I do not see auras. But anything that is alive & producing energy must have one.

Back in the 70s there was an album of instrumental music that was supposed to stimulate plant growth. From what I understood then, research had proven that plants did best with certain types of music..I think maybe it was chamber music...it seemed to work. When I played the album they seemed to be healthier. I found myself talking to the plants too until I was caught a few times & made to feel very silly.
I have never heard a plant make any type of noise. Im not sure that I would want to hear one cry. That statement makes me wonder if I am blocking that type of sensing ability.
Yesterday as I drove home & watched the cows with their young ones I thought about eating meat. I stopped at a place along the way, a roadside zoo owned by people who were obviously caring well for the animals which were all well fed. But the look & pleading in the spider monkey's eyes still haunts me. Now after reading these posts Ill be thinking about eating vegetables. Next Ill be feeling guilty about drinking water with all those microorganisms in it. Maybe this will turn out to be the next anorexia...fear of eating food that once was alive. I have the feeling Im going to wind up having nightmares tonight. Im not being sarcastic here. This is why I dont dwell much on this subject, it gets to me. And I confess: I kill roaches & ants.

I am kind of new to knowing what has been happening to me all my life. I have always seen a band of light around plants, animals, people, etc. I thought everyone saw them and have only recently found that many people don't see the light. I don't see colors though only white light.

Anorexia ain't healthy. I think you should eat meat if it is healthy for you. Have you ever watched Mutual of Omaha's "Wild Kingdom" or any such nature documentary program in which animals hunt one another? The tiger or lion in the savannah will only look at you as potential food if it is hungry--eat or be eaten id the rule--and quite frankly, I would rather eat. The lion will not stop to ponder and wonder if he should not eat you for philosophical reasons, so as long as the meat is from a healthy source, I say enjoy, enjoy , enjoy! That goes for plants, microrganisms in fresh water and the airborne ones that you cannot see in the air that we breathe. Breathe on!

No need to feel guity! just, eat drink and be merry!
