The Reiki Cafe 

Hi, the other day I was doing a self healing on my heart and solar plexus but at the same time was also doing some meditation.I often work the two together.During this time I had someone in my third eye put a lotus into the palm of my left hand. Can anyone explaine this.It was a nice feeling.

The heart and solar plexus is a dynamite combination isn't it? I do it myself.

As for the lotus, in the East, it is a symbol of the enfoldment of the spirit...many petals coming to a center.

Also, Quan Yin is also frequently depicted as holding a lotus.

Just some thoughts.

- perhaps the lotus being put in your hand suggests that the reiki work you do with your hands has made a connection with and thru your meditation to the realms of the Kundalini??

Thanks for the replys, I noticed that I miss spelt (Lotus)I was trying to say of the Grass Hopper (insect) was put in my hand.Please help again.
