Hi, everyone.
Please send Reiki to me and my cat, Molly. She is a 12 year old calico.
She is having seizures and we are in process of finding out why. She seems worse tonight, so we might be going back to the emergency clinic. Appointment with specialist on Monday. I am sad and afraid. Thanks,
Feather

- as one who has lived with cats for many years (our current furry friend is 15 years young) I have some idea of how you must be feeling
- Molly and you are added to my list for nightly reiki practices for felines and their people, respectively

Thank you sooooooooo much.
I just decided to hospitalize her for the weekend, as the seizures are worse. They need to calm her brain down. She looked pretty peaceful there, and they will medicate her for the seizures so she does not get so scared with them.
Meet with the specialist Monday morning, so next week we will know what we are up against. The not knowing is hard. Is it the end, or a bump in the road? But this is life, is it not? So appreciate your compassion.
Blessings,
Feather

- if the seizures came on all-of-a-sudden then perhaps she injested something toxic 'by accident'. If the seizures have had a gradual onset it might be a tumor of some sort in the brain; or perhaps she had a mini-stroke of some sort or is developing an aneurysm???? Does she show any other problems (apart from the times she has active seizures) like loss of coordination, poor appetite??
All my best thoughts for Molly and yourself.

At first, I thought it might be a reaction to having some of our floors redone, even though she was locked in another room. All the vets have said probably not toxins. Blood work is normal. Any first seizure is "sudden", but I would say this started right after we had the floors done a week ago and gradually has worsened over the week. A tumor would not surprise me. Monday they will rule out a brain tumor or stroke. The vet said a benign brain tumor is very common in cats this age (12/13) and has a high success rate for treatment. But we will know more Monday. I am a bit of a case right now, so if you can keep sending Reiki for a few days, I would love it.
Thanks,
Feather
