My 14 year old dog Jake was put to sleep in my arms this morning.

hi Helen,
he doesn't really need it, as animals are IMHO so 'pure', if they have had a loving home & upbringing as dear Jake had.. he is 'happy'...please don't be sad for him, he would not want that of you,.... be 'joyful' that you could assist him so very much in his release....I soon have to make this decision...
