The Reiki Cafe 

The four of us are going through a very dificult time right now. I recently discovered that our oldest son Alex may have been sexually abused by my ex-husband and is now acting out sexually on our youngest with some very age inapropriate play.

I talked to someone at Child Protective services and she said that until Alex actually says that something happened, we can't do too much.

Ken and I really need positive energy right now and Alex and John need healing so that they'll be able to open up and talk about it.

Right now Alex is so defensive that he refuses to talk about it at all.

We need as much Reiki help as we can get.

As for the kids, Alex is still in denial, but John is willing.

Hello adding my prayers and thoughts to you. Praying that everyone gets what they need. 11 and 12 is such a tough age without this new discovery. I read in your profile that they (the boys) are your Pride and Joy. Stay focused and thru your love and pride and Joy for them healing will continue to come. Blessings Beth

Dear Maria,
Will add your family to my morning Reiki list. I know there is some powerful healing that may happen here! This is probably one of the most , if not the most, painful moments in your life, and from this, the potential for so much healing and joy. Give yourself permission to feel the pain deeply for in its depths and brokenness, there is potential for a deeper transformative joy!I speak from experience, as I am sure many of us have been there. Focus on the love. (and what about counselling for the boys?)

I've already dropped out of school for a couple quarters so that I can devote much more focus to Alex and we're in the process of finding a good therapist here. We should have everything in place by the time the boys get back from Wisconsin in a couple weeks.
