My husband Rob underwent a 4 hour spinal fusion operation today and is now recovering in HDU. He has given his permission to receive distant Reiki and we would be very grateful for anyone willing to add him to their healing list over the next couple of days. We live in kent, England.

- perhaps he will get a bit of enhanced healing and relief

- my brother had disk fusion a number of years ago and though he still experiences some discomfortures which he treats mainly with Ibuprofen, he does feel that the Reiki we did for him during the healing stages following surgery (and occasionally since then) has been of help

That is very encouraging to hear :)

When I visited him today he was in a great deal of pain as his spine keeps going into spasm which is agonising for him. He is still on a morphine pump and lots of other pain relief drugs. I am hoping that this will all settle down over the next 24 hours.

- I hope so as well given the improved state of the art of such surgery (though 24 hours may be just a tad optimistic)

- my brother once rated (after about two years) the outcome of his surgery as about 85% of what he had 'realisically' hope for and I don't think this assessment has changed much during the interveneing 10 years or so
