The Reiki Cafe 

Hello everyone,
I'd like to ask for healing for myself in dealing with the loss of my brother Harry on June 6th, 2006.
It seems as if the process should be easier but I feel like my soul is being ripped from me and my heart is just shattered.
I continue to grieve and cry and I'd really appreciate some assistance in clearing this energy from my system.

P.S.. I may not find time to reply to those of you who respond to this right away. know I"m going on vacation to South Dakota on Thursday and I'll be staying on Pine Ridge ( in a teepee) and visiting Wounded knee. I'm hopeful that my spiritual friends and mentors along with my connection to Mother Earth will further assist me to let go of this pain in my heart.

Dear Susan,

Don't be too hard on yourself. Grieving is a 'process' that cannot be rushed. Allow yourself to cry when you need to. I know that it's a cliche but time really is a great healer and little by little it will get easier to remember all the happy times with your brother. His energy has not gone, merely transferred onto a different plane. His energy lives on through your memories of him.
