The Reiki Cafe 

Hi,

My name is Luci Hubbard. I am writing to request prayer for myself, my children, and my dog. I am a mother of 3 kids. I work full-time. I have been dealing with a huge amount of emotional, financial and mental stressors in my life for some time.

I am currently seeking to improve my financial situation in my life to make some major changes.

My children's names are: Michael 14, Jordan Elise 8, and Stanley III - 7. My dog's name is Fuchsia. My dog has a huge gash on the top of her head. She is a sweet but very mischevious black labrador retriever. My husband has some sort of anger management issue and I believe he hit her. I am very saddened and disturbed by this as I feel that excessive discipline is unwarranted. I also do not want my children to deal with things that make them angry by becoming violent.

I have been a spiritual path for sometime now but it seems that I take detours every once in a while. I pray for the Universe's guidance and direction in my life at this critical juncture.

Dear Luci,

I will send some reiki for the dog. I know it can be tricky with kids, but have you asked them if it's okay for people to send reiki to them? I guess you could term it "pray" for them if that's a concept they understand. Once you've established this, do another post and if they're agreeable, I'll do reiki for you and the chn as a group. I would normally like to include the husband as part of the group, but my thinking is you probably won't want to ask him if that's okay ;)

- just to clarify, a little, Reiki and prayers are rather different processes

- you ask for prayers (I am sure some will make such requests on your behalf) but I do not see that you mention Reiki in your request)

- if you would like some distance Reiki as well, please let us know

- also, I would say that Michael is old enough to say for himself whether or not he would want distance Reiki - so, if you ask for Reiki you might consider first asking Michael if that is OK with him
