The Reiki Cafe 

I am asking for healing for my friend John and
his dog Edwina. John and his wife are splitting
up which is huge emotional turmoil, and at the same
time his beloved Pug Edwina is bleeding internally.
She's going to have an ultrasound to find out
what is wrong for sure but the vet thinks it may
be a bleeding ulcer. The two of them are SO
bonded and they adore each other. He goes home
during his lunch hour so she doesn't have to be
alone all day. And he won't even go for a short
dinner after work without checking on her first.
Their devotion to each other is SO sweet. I
don't know what he'll do if he loses her.
Also, I would like to again thank those who
years ago sent Reiki for my cat whose kidneys
were failing. I lost her but in honor of you
all I named my new cat Reiki. I hope you do not
think that is disrepectful. It turned out to be
the perfect name for her and she did heal my
heart. I think she does you all proud. Bless you
all for doing the healing work that you do and I
hope that everyone's pain is taken away.

Yes, John absolutely knows about the request. I know
you guys only work with permission and where wanted.
And honestly, John will be okay and will get through
his journey. But he's VERY worried about Edwina and
has now requested that anyone trying to help send
their healing for Edwina and only send healing
for him if there is time left over. We know you
have tons of requests and there are many people
who have serious health issues and need you more
than he does. His priority is Edwina. She is like
a child to him. And that adorable little Pug face
is SO sweet, and she has always been so mellow and
peaceful. Never starts or engages in fights with
other animals. And honestly, if Edwina is okay
he will DEFINTELY be okay too.

I hope that you did not take my response in the wrong way.
One can never hear the tone of voice in an email.
I totally understand that your ethics require that you
follow serious guidelines. And I'm sure there are people
who don't follw the guidelines. I only meant to say that
I very much respect what Reiki practioners do and I
so admire that you freely give your time (which nobody
seems to have enough of) to help people that you don't
even know. So I would not disrepect that, nor would
I disrepect my friends by posting things about them
without their permission. But of course you don't know
me so you could not have known that. And you're right,
I shouldn't have assumed. You know what they say:
When you assume you turn into the first three letters
of the word. Thank you again. No need to reply.
