Anyone have a couple of minutes

Hi!

It must the stress this year, but my back from neck down has been in the midst of a trauma. After being in an accident years ago with a drunk driver (we lost), my vertebrae placement and muscles in my back and neck have never been the same. I do go to a chiropractor which gets a little expensive. I am putting the current problems on the stress at work and life in general at the moment.

Would anyone be kind enough to send some distance healing to me? I would appreciate it. Got some heavy duty healing technique, I'm your guinea pig. Just let me know first so I can sit down.

Thanks,
Birdy

Hi Birdy,

I'd love to add you to my distance list. I send every 2 days or so. Just say yes and what time you would be most comfortable receiving Reiki and we'll put that in our intention for your highest good.

birdy,

Hi,

If you don't mind my inquiry (or comment if you prefer), do you actually get any significant relief from the chiropractic ministrations or have just become a chronic supporter ($$$) of someone's lifestyle? Irregardless, energy will be on the way for you. If you have not investigated Hatha yoga, you might consider doing so.

Cheers,

RC

Not a problem.....I do receive great relief from the chiropractor. Some of the damage sustained is permanent.

I love yoga, but some of the positions really irritate my neck and I do not do them. I don't like feeling sick to my stomach or having headaches all the time.

My answer to anyone sending healing is a resounding YES!!

Probably after 10 in the evening is best. The rest of the day is up for grabs.

Thank you!

Birdy

Umm...I'll have to work out what '10 in the evening' is UK time!! What time zone are you in, birdy?

After ten in the evening, it is, Birdy. What you might need is a therapist who knows cervical muscle energy. Very often the facets of the cervical vertebrae are out of alignment (secondary to your trauma)....without correcting these first, no matter what one does...the pain will come back or worsen. Muscle energy is a very gentle technique where after assessing where your vertebrae are, the therapist then uses your isometric strength (after positioning you) to allow your body to self correct. It might take more than one or two treatments, but it is much more gentle then direct methods (such as what the chiroprator uses) and causes no wear & tear on your joints. Once your alignment is corrected, then Feldenkrais movement would help to maintain.

I've just been able to get back to this, birdy, let me work it all out so that it's a time we'll both be awake, and I'll get back to you!

:-)

Hi Birdy,

So are you feeling anything different after 10PM your time? Is there any improvement?

I think I slept fairly well most of the week, which is really a plus. I usually don't when I'm away from home. Was pretty relaxed all week. Didn't go horseback riding because of my back, so I didn't mess that up any.

Thank you for sending Reiki!
