Hi All,
I'm new to Reiki but believe that it can help me heal myself. I had surgery for a severe disc herniation in my lower back (L-4 L-5) on 8/24/07. I was off work till 10/29/07. I'm back now and just want to keep my spine and overalll health well. I go back for an MRI on 12/07/07. I want to hear the Dr. tell me all is well. I just want to feel normal again, and be able to chase my kids around like I used to. Thank you in advance. Gary

Dear Gary,
Sorry to hear about your your infrastructure troubles. I know how draining and troublesome that can be.
Reiki can help you. Spontaneous cures are rare though. Reiki seems to operate in a way that (if you allow the healing) drags one back to the original point source of the Mind/Body/Spirit dis-connect that brought the (dis-ease) condition on.
Namste,
Michael

Michael,
I'm not expecting a spontaneous healing. I'm just looking foward to the steady positive healing that I'm having now, to continue and progress. I know this will happen, I can feel it already. I appreciate your words.

Hi Gary,
Reiki has been sent for your highest good. I have trouble with my back now and then. Fortunately, it's been good lately. Thanks to everyone here and my own efforts.

gary,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- the spine is a critical structure
- was the herniated disc precipitated at work or play?
- has your surgeon recommended any physical therapy? If so, have you been faithful with it? Have other activities such as yoga been suggested?
- as for feeling normal? If you are eventually without pain, then that may be as close to 'normal' as you will get
- I assume you are asking for some Reiki here??
- if so, I will add you to my list for nightly Reiki practices (my brother had two discs fused a number of years ago and seemed to benefit to some degree from Reiki though he contiunes to have some occasional pain that he will likely have to live with til the end of his days)
Reiki All Around,
All Blessings,
Firekeeper
