Hi everyone
After a few more hiccups the last few weeks, I am thrilled to be able to tell you the latest update.
As of yesterday Tate is off cpap and officially breathing on his own. After slowly building up to 6 hours off the cpap when the medical staff tried to put it back on - he threw a wobbly and let them know enough was enough. Though if he tires out he may have to have an hour here and there on cpap.
The most wonderful news is: his latest brain scan showed the fluid levels and ventricles are back within normal range.
Thanks yet again to all of you who have sent reiki and prayers his way.
Blessings
Sky

Yes please keep him on your list - he has a long way to go still before he is allowed to go home. Now he has to learn to suckle, breathe and swallow all at the same time - which can be very difficult for preemies. Plus get his weight up to 5lbs, currently he is not 3lbs yet.
He has to reach 5lb before the hospital will consider letting him go home.
When he is allowed home, I will ask my sister permission to put a photograph of him up here on my profile so you can see the little guy you helped so much.
How lovely to be able to say "When he goes home!"
Thanks again firekeeper
