The Reiki Cafe 

My aunt Carmen is 69, in the Boston area, and has been a all my life with her delightful joy and humor.

She has been living with a rare disease that "looks" like lukemeia for many many years. Last fall, on a visit to the west coast, she told me of it. Since then, she has been struggling to go on. Today, she has a blood transfusion. As those who have been through this before know, she won't feel any benifits from it - if any - till tomorrow or Thurs. On Friday, she'll be going to a cancer center to beging a new treatment to off-set the effects of her illness. Her pancreas is enlarged to fight it, her platelets and blood counts are well below any normal readings should be.

We ask you to send to her, to give her what she needs to live through this or if it is time, to transition with ease and love.

Also, plese send to my uncle Don. My nickname for him is El Terrifico. He has been a dear support and kept my auntie's spirits up since they met so long ago.

Yes, I was recently communicating with a teenage girl in India with a disease which sounds like the same thing and I can't for the life of me remember the name of it - wrote it down but don't have it handy -

- anyhow, I will gladly add her and "don terrifico" to my list for nightly reiki practices - I assume they know of your request on their behalves ?? and agree.

Dear everyone,
Thanks for helping this person dear to me. She went to the cancer clinic today (fri) expecting a new and very sucessful treatment... I am going to wait till Sat to see how it went.
She was rather depressed Thurs.

I guess, I'm asking for Reiki for her condition.

Really, I am asking for me, for my heart - no matter what ever happens for her (return to health, quick or slow time before transition)

Thanks for all help, it is so wonderful to have this opportunity to ask for support. It's not something I do easily.

Dear Everyone in the Cafe,
Thank you for sending Reiki to my aunt. The blood transfusion did help perk her up. As many of you know that when a person starts needing blood transfusions, it does not bode well.
The new treatment wasn't available to her, as the FDA hasn't yet approved it for her disease. (arrggh)
