Friends, lovers, one-night stands: it's time to rock Rated Rookie's sixth-issue release party. To celebrate our latest debauchery, we're throwing a fundraising breakdown.

Why? The 'merican dollar has shriveled. Our Canadian printer, capitalizing on the suck, raised costs. Oh, those sneaky Canadians! To counter the counter-tariffs, we're throwing a hootenanny to rock Williamsburg to rubble. Our plan for destruction:

1. The Piņata Room
2. Hula Hoops o' Death
3. Gallons o' sexy-makin' brew
4. Jell-O Shot Girls from North Carolina
5. Mystery Inebriates
6. Triple-Headed Tricycle Races
7. Hippity-Hop, House and '80s DJs
8. 3,000-square-foot space
9. Make-Out Enablers
10. Another Bad Creation-Coverin' Bands
11. And you, dammit

What: Screw Canada 2, Rated Rookie Release Party
Where: OfficeOps, 57 Thames Street, #2 (718-418-2509)
Date: Feb. 7th
Time: 8 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Cost: $5 (plus, free copy of Rated Rookie and raffle tickets for a top-secret prize)

Directions: Friends, the MTA has us at their mercy:

Even after the MTA swore the L train would run this weekend, it will not. This poses logistical problems, but ones easily solved. The party is going on, and it will feature more Canadian-hatin' rock and sexy-makin' roll. You better come, or you'll miss all the surprises we have in store.

SOLUTIONS

FREE RIDE --If anyone needs a ride to the party, call Josh at: 646.299.8354 the day of and we can arrange transport.

L-TRAIN IS A SHUTTLE BUS -- For anyone living in Williamsburg, proceed as normal. Starting at Lorimer Street/Metropolitan Avenue (the 2nd stop on the L), a shuttle bus (running every two minutes) will proceed to the Morgan Avenue stop. Proceed as from before

FOR G-LINE -- Anyone living on the G line, this will be cake. Make your way to Metropolitan Avenue, walk outside, and the shuttle bus will be waiting.

FROM MANHATTAN

1. Take the J or M train to Marcy Avenue. Exit, and outside the train at the Wil...More

Hi, my name is Michael. I am in my late 20s, well-educated at an Ivy League college, and currently working as an editor/writer for a publication company. I am desperately looking for a place to stay for a few months--just to sleep at night for a few hours. I will be busy working rest of the time. I am strapped for cash and am hoping to save up some money for a few months. If you have any space where I can crash at night for a while, please contact me at young14@hotmail.com I can pay a little money for the duration and I can also help out with house chores or any help with writing/editing, etc. Thank you.

He's back!

In the early 1980's, it was rumored that a strange monkeyman beast was roaming the streets of Hoboken and attacking innocent citizens.

The Hoboken Police Department set up a special task force to capture him.

BUT HE GOT AWAY!

The Hoboken Monkeyman returns with a selection of truly evil shirts, mugs, and more. Get him before he gets you!
