The apt is a 2 bedroom apt that is converted into 3 bedrooms. I am moving out to live with my girlfriend. I have lived in this apartment since September 2002 and have found the apartment and area perfect.
The room for rent is the converted smallest bedroom and is being rented for $1050. The Total Rent is: $3520. (Large room = $1320. The other mid sized room is $1150). It is a 1 year leased apartment which started on September 1, 2004 and lasts until August 31, 2005. The converted bedroom can fit a queen sized bed, and dresser. The closet is located outside the room but is huge. The room shares 1 of the bathrooms with the roommate in the mid sized room (the apartment has 2 full bathrooms, the other is to be solely used by the roommate with the largest room paying $1320).
The room is available from February, 2005 until August 31, 2005. It is not available for a shorter period of time. You will not be signing a lease. Once August 31, 2005 comes around, you would have the option to sign a lease with the building. My name stays on the lease and I sublease the apartment to you. I would need from you: 1) Letter of employment with salary, 2) 2 most recent bank statements, 3) Photo ID, 4) First month's rent ($1050) and 5) Security ($1050). You will be taking over my portion of the security. At the time that the lease is up on August 31, 2005, your $1050 of the security will be reimbursed to you.
Your roommates are two straight males that work in finance in the financial district. They are looking for someone with similar characteristics: male, in mid 20s, non-smoker, without pets, straight, employed, quiet, respectable, and low-key.
