These rooms are part of a duplex apartment on Hudson Street between 3rd and 4th in an historic building. The duplex apartment presently has three young professionals living there, who are very quiet and two cats that are unobtrusive.
The rooms that will be available are on the third floor. The apartment has been partially renovated, the floors have been re-done and there will be new insulated windows installed this summer. The bathroom is also located on the third floor.
On the second floor of the duplex are a shared eat-in kitchen with a washer and dryer, and an enclosed porch with access to a very nice garden which is available for sunning, etc. or just enjoying the flowers.
This space is suitable for a couple or a single person; the large room could be a bedroom, and the smaller room could be an office or visa-versa.
The advantages of this location are its closeness to the PATH train, to shopping and to the river promenade. The building is owner-occupied so it is well taken care of and quiet.
The monthly rent will be $950, which includes hot water but not heat. The utilities are about $100 a month. One month security will be needed.
