Learn the basic skills of drawing and painting in the privacy of your own home, or in our private studio.
Located close to Park Slope in Brooklyn, lessons have begun and can be joined at any time. Beginners are welcome!

Lessons focus on basic drawing and painting skills with an emphasis on traditional techniques and are designed to help anyone interested in pursuing the arts. The foundation of our lessons relies on the development of visual perception, using antique plaster casts and specialized methods. Classes have no more than four students and individualized attention is guaranteed. We have helped prepare student’s portfolios specifically for acceptance into art schools and colleges and have had our students accepted with scholarships into such institutions as the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Private lessons are three hours weekly at a cost of $125 a month at our studio, or $185 a month in your home or studio. Now offered a basic drawing class from 10:00-1:00 Saturday mornings. Additionally we have a still life painting class offered on Saturday afternoons 2:00-5:00. Come join us!

Study with two painters, each a recipient of multiple individual artist’s grants. Both are currently exhibiting and have professional experience in teaching and in practicing the art of painting and drawing from life.
