How would you like to have you own room, in a brand new elevator building with laundry in the basement, and your own heat and air??? Well heres your chance. My roommate and I have decided to rent out one of the bedrooms in our two bedroom apartment. The rent is a little high for us, and this will not only allow us to have another friend living with us, but it will help all everyone in the long run.
ROOM: Its 10 by 16 with a deep inset closet. You have your own heat and air control, and cable and internet already hooked and ready to go.
APARTMENT: Because my roommate would be moving out of the bedroom, she would take the living room space. But, the aparment is big enough to have a small dinning room table, and a breakfast bar. As a result, there would be plenty of space to hang out, but no legitimate living room space. However, we do have a nice balcony which adds a lot more room. Large kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, and bathroom with blue tile.
BUILDING: Laundry in the basement, with parking garage, elevator, courtyard, and video intercom system. Brand new everything.
NEIGHBORHOOD: Astoria Blvd. Plenty of stores open 24hrs, always people walking around at all hours, and N and W trains are a block and a half away. 15 minutes to mid-town.
ROOMMATES: I am a 21 yr old male working college student, been living in NYC my whole life. My roommate is a 27 year old female, also working student. She moved here from Brazil, so between us, we speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently. We have been friends for almost a year now, and living together for 5 months. We are not involved, so that would not be awkward for you at all.
