Hoboken, NJ’s Hudson Theatre Ensemble will be holding auditions for “Personals,” the musical comedy by the creators of the TV hit Friends! This entertaining look at the dating scene has music by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell) and Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast) among others. Non-equity, non-paid. Hoboken is a 15 minute bus or path ride from NYC.
Auditions/Callbacks in evenings by appointment only: Auditions: Mon 3/15,Tues 3/16, Wed 3/17. Callbacks: Mon 3/22, Tues 3/23, Wed 3/24. Audition consists of 2 songs your choice (ballad & character) & monologue provided from play.
Rehearsal Schedule: Rehearsals begin 3/29/04, four times per week, evenings &/or one afternoon during weekend. All actors may not be needed at every rehearsal. .
Performances: Preview: 6/3/04; Show runs: 6/4 – 6/13/04 (Fri, Sat at 8, Sun at 7:00)
Director/Musical Director: Adi Zisman was the Musical Director for “Company” produced by the Hudson Theatre Ensemble. Cast Breakdown: 5 men, 5 women (25-40); Singer/Actors who must sing well, are hilarious & animated, & are true ensemble performers. Friends and Seinfeld types ideal.
