The Hoboken Dance Academy is going into its second year. We strive to provide a professional teaching staff with performance experience, degrees and union affiliations. Our teaching philosophy is that each student will be given the opportunity to learn dance in its purest form. The curriculum builds itself upon technique, terminology and execution. We believe that all of our student’s are individuals and have their own reasons for entering our dance program and our goal is to give them a proper dance education whether their goal is to dance professionally or as an extra curricular activity. We believe that all children can be taught and learn in an academic and expressive environment. Hoboken Dance Academy builds strong dancers with an appreciation for dance as a true art form.
We are now accepting online enrollment for our 2008-2009 dance season. Our studio is going into its 3rd dance season and we specialize in concert dance. Our studio philosophy is to concentrate and have our students accomplish themselves in the true dance art forms first before branching out. Concert dance forms are ballet, modern, and jazz and we also have a strong concentration in tap. We have students that have been accepted into some of the most prestigious ballet schools in the city as well as students that are currently auditioning for Broadway and have obtained agents in the the city. Whether your child is dancing for enjoyment or as career we are most certain to give the highest quality of dance education. We pride ourselves in educating dancers to obtain their fullest potential.
