Celebrate TNT's 20th Anniversary With a 5-Star Triathlon Event!

In 2006, the first Nation's Triathlon took place in Washington, DC, with an ambitious goal: to become the largest, most organized and well-produced triathlon in the world.

Now in its third year, this stellar athletic event has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to become the first triathlon to help cure blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The first Nation's Triathlon To Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will take place in Washington, DC on Sept. 14, 2008.

The Nation's Triathlon is LLS's second foray into co-branded events, a strategy that is being implemented to create new revenue streams to find cures for blood cancers. In 2008, LLS will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Nike Women's Marathon, A Race to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which has already raised more than $60 million to help fund lifesaving cancer research. Team In Training (TNT) is the world's largest endurance sports training program, preparing individuals to participate in marathons, triathlons and 100-mile cycle events. Nation's Tri participants who train with TNT will receive 4 months of professional training, a supportive group to train, travel and socialize with, accommodations and event fees. In return, they raise funds for lifesaving cancer research.
