I studied dance and dance therapy at Queens College. I've taught North African and Middle Eastern Dance & Culture in Dance and Anthropology departments throughout the City University of New York (CUNY) system. I've danced for such renowned organizations as the United Nations Arab Society, the Arabic Culture Club of New York and the World Dance Theatre. I delighted audiences at the internationally famous Club Ibis, Cedars of Lebanon and Club Nefertiti in NYC. I was a member of the Harkness Ballet Company, the NYS Ballet Company, lead set dancer with The Chieftains and dancer and choreographer for the TOY Company Children's Theatre. I have also taught Middle Eastern Dance (MED) historical & cultural origins at the University of Illinois at Carbondale and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
