Hoboken questions
If you live in Hoboken, how long have you been here?
A little over a year and a half now, on and off. I came here originally in January 2000 and stayed until August. I moved back here a few months ago.
If you live in Hoboken, why do you live here?
Initially, I came here in to go to Stevens for grad school and I ended up really liking it here, but I had to leave last August for job reasons, though of course I didn't really wanna go. When I got a job in the area a few months ago, I moved back here as soon as I could find a suitable apartment and I'm glad I did because I love it.
What do you like about Hoboken?
Oh, just about everything: the energy, the amazing food, the easy access to New York, Maxwell's, beautiful women all around, the fact that everything is walkable, the number of dogs being walked on the streets at any given time, garage sales in the summer and that it's like a community where people know each other and say hello. I'm bound to run into at least a few people I know every time I take a walk.
What do you dislike about Hoboken?
Oh, the usual complaints: lack of parking, high rents and way too many out-of-town drunken idiots roaming the streets late on Friday and Saturday nights. Still, the likes outweigh the dislikes, which is why I'm here!
