Hi! I’m a former police detective turned entrepreneur. I spent the first part of my professional career with the police department, where I worked to uncover police and political corruption. My work led to the arrest of several high-profile politicians and city employees. Since being rewarded an early retirement, I’ve worked in mortgage banking and the credit industry, and have started and currently run two of my own companies. As far as future plans are concerned, with so much vitality in the housing and credit market these days, I plan on staying put, growing my businesses, and seeing what happens!
Family is very important to me, and I have a great relationship with almost all of my family. My mom, brothers, and uncles all live close by, and we get together at least once a month. I’m a Jersey boy through and through--having been born in Wayne, and have lived in the state my whole life. My friends are also important to me, and we get together regularly for all kinds of activities almost every weekend. I try to arrange something different for us like co-ed softball games, whitewater rafting, basketball games, spelunking, and have even got a few people to do a parachute jump ;-)! I enjoy keeping fit, and work out at the gym regularly, go bike riding, and do cardio-kickboxing. I also recently tried a kind of yoga called eye-gazing, and really enjoyed it. I also enjoy going into the city and hanging out at a park, walking around, and having a nice dinner in an interesting, out-of-the-way restaurant, or going out to the occasional bar or club. Certainly most of the activities I enjoy are athletic, outdoors pursuits, but I am also content to just be lazy and hang out at the house cuddling on the couch with a movie and some great take-out ;-).
I’m interested in a serious, committed relationship with someone who is in good shape and enjoys working to stay that way (no smokers, please), who doesn’t have kids, and who has interests in things other than money and material things. I do understand that most romantic relationships first begin as friendships, so why don’t we get together for a coffee or lunch—something low-key and relaxed—and see how things go from there ;-)?!
