I run the Hoboken Newcomers Club, a fun group of people in their 20's and 30's from the city of Hoboken and other cities in the tri-state area that get together for events in the NYC area.

General questions
What do you do for a living?
Work as an Independent I.T consultant for Fortune 500 corporations. Also, an aspiring filmmaker and part-time student at NYU in Film Production, though not for a living yet.
What religions or philosophies of life do you believe in?
Born in a Hindu Brahmin family (not a Boston Brahmin :-)
Don't actively practice any religion. Like to keep philosophies in life quite simple - Do unto others as you would have them to you, don't judge others unless you've walked a mile in their shoes, etc.. Complicated philosophies don't work for me.
What type of books do you like to read?
Not a book person. Read too many magazines - news, sports, arts, filmmaking, advertising, etc & work related industry journals. My collection of magazines in the living room would put a dentist's waiting room to shame.
What type of movies or television shows do you watch?
Lately I’m more into Spanish films, specifically Pedro Almodovar movies.
Watch many T.V shows but the ones on a regular basis are The McLaughlin Group, Apprentice and 60 minutes
What kind of music do you like?
Depends on the mood – anything from Elvis, Beethoven symphony to GreenDay.
Do you consider yourself to be more of a conservative or liberal person?
Socially liberal and fiscally conservative, how's that for an answer?
What do you like to do for fun?
Travel, hangout in the city - bars, clubs, restaurants, art galleries, independent film's night & arrange events for the Hoboken Newcomers Club - of which I'm the current President.
What achievements in your life are you most proud of?
None that come to mind right now, so I guess my proudest achievements lie ahead of me.

Small town feel with easy access to the city, lots of friends and people that I know live here, nice happy hours almost every day of the week.
