What type of books do you like to read?
Something that tells me about people, either particular ones, fictional ones, or the general mass of them.
More science fiction than I should admit to.
What type of movies or television shows do you watch?
Mostly just the TVs in bars. I don't have a TV at home, so I haven't developed the tolerance necessary to ignore the distracting things. But I do really enjoy "The Simpsons".
What kind of music do you like?
My own or something I can make my own. That would be lots of jazz, generous classic rock, some heavy metal, and a touch of ska. Often, my friends and I will confuse those categories, playing a heavy metal song as ska, segueing to some southern blues.
What type of foods do you like to eat?
Yes.
Anything I haven't tried before.
People sometimes ask if I'm a vegetarian, but I'm not.
Do you consider yourself to be more of a conservative or liberal person?
I'll be conservative for myself, but I'll be liberal for everyone else and want them to be liberal for me.
What do you like to do for fun?
Debate philosophy with friends over a great meal gathered around a campfire after a vigorous day.
What are some of your interests?
Music (playing and listening), cooking, cycling, camping, theater (performing and watching), sailing, photography, juggling, teaching any of the above.
What achievements in your life are you most proud of?
Learning about myself: my strengths, my weaknesses, how I should improve myself.
