Description

I use Reiki almost daily since my Level I attumement (3/87) and certainly even more so since Level II (2/89). It's symbol is my primary mantra in meditation. I studied Level III (6/98) and have taught several Level I classes as well as Introduction to Meditation and Introduction to Spiritual Healing.
I have studied a number of other healing systems (i.e. Spiritual Healing, Kolamni, The Melchizedek Method, Andean Shamanism, et. al.), but weave Reiki into whatever else I may do. Studied TM in 4/73, meditate regularly since 8/86 when my metaphysical and spiritual side engaged rather rapidly. It is my priority, along with my son and his wife. I took the Landmark Forum and several other Landmark courses between 9/92 and 7/98. I am active as a member of the Distant Healing Network (DHN), on-line.
On 9/28/02, I retired from the Erie County District Attorney's Office after 29.5 years as a career prosecutor. I was blessed to be assigned to the City of Buffalo's Drug Treatment Court for the last 5.5 years. On 10/30/02 I purchased a 30.5' Class "C" motorhome and on 12/4/02, set off for warmer weather in the Southwest, in part to be filled with the beautiful scenery that areas such as Sedona, AZ, the Big Bend area of Texas around Alpine (near the famous Marfa Lights) and the mountains just east of the Los Angeles basin offer to the spirit...but also to challenge myself beyond my previous comfort zone.
On the secular side, with the arrival of good weather, my 1985 Toyota Supra comes out of winter storage...then, I get my engine running and get out on the highway. At the moment, I am only a part-time RVer, but thoroughly enjoyed my first six months on the road prior to returning to Buffalo on 6/4/03. While there is not the time or place to mention all the incredible experiences I had during those six months, things didnot slow down until early August, 2003. Since then, I've taken the time to integrate all the transformative events that have occurred in my life since learning on 7/5/02 that I could retire. Among the good news is the anticipated birth of my first grandchild to my son and daughter in law.
Life is not only good...it is very good...and it is our service to help make it better for all those persons and living creatures that we draw to us or happen across our path.
