General questions
What do you do for a living?
Massage Therapist, Reiki Master-Teacher
What religions or philosophies of life do you believe in?
I was brought up southern baptist in Va, and married a catholic. Being a Reiki Master, I respect all belief systems and have strong beliefs for myself as a christian.
What are your favorite books?
Non-fiction...about health, natural healing, autobiographies, etc.
What type of books do you like to read?
Currently, books on healing, energy and reiki- since I am teaching classes on these subjects.
What type of movies or television shows do you watch?
I do not watch tv, but love to go to the movies.(I like the candy!)
I like period pieces and love stories, most anything...without the violence.
What kind of music do you like?
All types...depends on my mood.
What type of foods do you like to eat?
I am a vegetarian and being a personal trainer, I eat very healthy. If I want to treat myself, I go to "frosty boy" in my town and get a yogurt ice cream.
Do you consider yourself to be more of a conservative or liberal person?
Liberal.
What do you like to do for fun?
Travel with my family, read, garden, anything outside..biking, walking, hiking, getting together with friends...Most all things honestly. I like trying new and different things. (my children and I go on "adventures")
What are some of your interests?
Reading, taking classes/workshops on energy healing and helping others to take control of thier lives and empower themselves to heal from within. I love to learn and to share this with others.
What achievements in your life are you most proud of?
My two sons,following my true path in this life, graduating from massage school, receiving my first Reiki attunement- literally changed my life and I was "re-born at 40 years old. Amazing!

How did you find Reiki and how long have you been involved with Reiki?
I found out about Reiki in massage school and took the class not knowing what it was. I thought it was a type of massage. This was in Jan of 2002. It literally changed my life and direction in my career.
What style or styles of Reiki do you practice?
Traditional Usui...I was taught from Diane Stein's "Essential Reiki" and Barbara Brennan's book "Hands of Light". I would not consider this traditional Usui Reiki, but a combination of western and japenese reiki
What other (if any) healing modalalites have you practiced besides Reiki?
Touch for Health, Cranio-Sacral, Meridian work, Reflexology, homeopathy, crystals and meditation.
