Description

I have at long last consciously become aware of the spiritual path that we are all on! I am so grateful to have found my "entry points" (or that they have found me), which at this time primarily include A Course in Miracles, and Reiki. I feel as if I am just beginning to "wake up" to my own spirituality, something that has been dormant for much too long! Or, perhaps as long as it needed to be. After all, we are each "exactly where we need to be in each and every moment". I appreciate the opportunity to share, to grow, and to learn with each of you!

What do you do for a living?

What religions or philosophies of life do you believe in?

I am spiritual, but not religious.
I am a student of A Course in Miracles.
I am in exploration of various Eastern philosophies.
I believe that at their very highest, innermost core all "religions" express the same basic message of oneness and love. Too often the heirarchy of religious institutions get in the way of the true message. Too often people accept the messenger, whether that be Jesus,Buddha, or whomever - but they don't accept the message.

What Reiki level are you?

How did you find Reiki and how long have you been involved with Reiki?

My first encounter / knowledge of Reiki came to me through my therapist. She suggested this as a way to counter my resistance to changing the way I viewed myself. I became Reiki I & II in the fall of 2004. My practice is limited to self-Reiki,and to a limited number of family and friends.

What style or styles of Reiki do you practice?

Usui.
