My story
I first heard of Reiki when I attended a short course in Tai Chi in Feb 2004 but didn’t give it much thought. My partner and I then moved to a village just out side of Wakefield (UK) which instantly felt like home. In September 2004 my partner talked me into having a Tarot reading done, so we found a lady (Christine) in the next village. After my reading Christine felt compelled to give me this small book on Reiki which she said was the first time she had ever given a book away. I read the book with interest but thought no more of it. Then on the 16th of February 2005 I had an accident were my left hand got court in my fan belt of my van and severed some tendons in my little, wedding and middle fingers. A few days later I found this Reiki book while trying to pass the time, so I phoned Christine and she said that she doesn’t give treatments any more because of her arthritis in her legs but she would be willing to give me The Reiki 1 attunment. I received this on the 25th of February and have been playing and practicing since.

5 years in the British Army where i helped to build an out door play ground for a local primary school. Loads of fun to see the kids faces light up when we unvailed it
