General questions
What do you do for a living?
I'm a single, stay-at-home mother of three boys, intending to study at uni next year. I write freelance articles and have considered offering reiki to others.
What religions or philosophies of life do you believe in?
that what we send out to the universe comes back to us, in one form or another. To do harm to none, and to be active in helping to heal the planet and redress the inbalances of power that exist in our world.
What are your favorite books?
I love reading new age/spirituality related books and magazines. I also love the Deverry series by Katherine Kerr, but I wish she'd hurry up and finish that last book!
What type of movies or television shows do you watch?
I enjoy documentaries about almost anything, and love well-crafted films with great acting.
What kind of music do you like?
Relaxation music, world music and many albums by female singers. I love the sound of womens voices, and their stories.
What type of foods do you like to eat?
Chinese, Thai, indian, junk, ha ha, and of course the good old aussie barbeque.
Do you consider yourself to be more of a conservative or liberal person?
It's so difficult to say, because personal politics changes as we age, as life-events alter our thinking. I guess I would describe myself as a spiritual socialist, in purely aesthetic terms.
What do you like to do for fun?
exploring sand dunes and swimming with my kids, watching for dolphins, working with crystals, and learning all that i can. Love the internet.
What are some of your interests?
Crystals, reiki, writing, reading, bushwalking by myself, long drives.
What achievements in your life are you most proud of?
Achieving my childhood dream of becoming a female seafarer working aboard cargo ships; becoming the strong woman i am today, building a home for my children without any support. And for being consciously aware of this great quest called life.

How did you find Reiki and how long have you been involved with Reiki?
By reading a lot of new age material through the years . Have used white light as healing energy since my first pregnancy, 9 years ago. Attuned Reiki 1 Sept 2003.
What style or styles of Reiki do you practice?
Usui.
What other (if any) healing modalalites have you practiced besides Reiki?
Crystal healing, white light work with chakras, aromatherapy.

My retirement dream, to finance and run a healer's retreat for healers, somewhere peaceful with rainforest and waterfalls and natural swimming holes. Heaven, really!
