My name is Raven, and I'm a Reiki Master, a teacher, Massage Therapist and Holistic Healer, and a practicing Tibetan Buddhist in the mounatins of Western North Carolina, in the USA. I love teaching Reiki, doing healing work, and sharing my spirituality with others.

General questions
What do you do for a living?
Hotel Night Manager. I'm also a Nationally Certified Massage & Bodywork Therapist, Reiki Teacher, and Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner. I'm hoping to going back into healing work full time sometime this year.

What religions or philosophies of life do you believe in?
My spiritual path is constantly evolving. I was originally trained as a Wiccan Priest. I have also studied Tibetan Buddhism with many great teachers. My personal practice draws on elements of both Earth-based Spirituality and Buddhism.

What type of books do you like to read?
Non fiction - on Buddhism, Religious studies (Theology), World Religions, Philosophy, Psychology, Health, Medical science, Reiki, etc.
Fiction - especially Science Fiction & Fantasy -- favorite author is Mercades Lackey.

What type of movies or television shows do you watch?
It just depends. Everything from educational to horror movies. It's all about whether I wanna learn and grow, loose myself in a fantasy, or cuddle up to someone. My favorite move of all time is called Kundun. It was directed by Martin Scorcese, and is about the life of The Dalai Lama.

What kind of music do you like?
Acoustic Rock, Folk, Bluegrass, Dance, Techno, Pop, R&B, and everything in between. Not a big fan of Rap or Torch-and-Twang Country. Right now, I'm really into the CD "Chariot" by Gavin DeGraw.

What type of foods do you like to eat?
Favorites included Italian and Chinese, but I'm open minded and will try most things once. Learning vegitarian cooking.

Do you consider yourself to be more of a conservative or liberal person?
Very liberal.

Dance, Sing, Make Music & Celebrate Life!

What are some of your interests?
Equal Rights • GBLT rights • Sexuality & intimacy education

What achievements in your life are you most proud of?
My reiki and massage training, and my first published article on a health subject.
