What do you do for a living?
I am a University student, studying English literature.
I am a Reiki teacher/practitioner proffesionally.
What religions or philosophies of life do you believe in?
I have my own philosophy, but Budhism holds alot of truth for me, especially zen budhism. I also gain insight from some Hindu philosphy, Sufi Islamic writings, and Christian ideas. I believe strongly in the philosophy of the earth as an entity. I believe in God in all forms.
What are your favorite books?
Hmmm...dificult. The Alchemist (Paulo not Jhonson), Illusions (by Bach), Hamlet, the Ballad of reading goal, Smith of smiths manger..I'm still finding more.
What type of books do you like to read?
Ohhh...Post colonial writings, Science fiction, poetry, terry pratchet, philosophical fiction...stuff
What type of movies or television shows do you watch?
Movies..all sorts...from 'art house', to blockbusters, I like good sci-fi again, adored 'fight club', also some Japanese films and film cartoons i.e. 'princess Mononoke', hmm like serious films, and films that make one think...also good comedy.
TV..I love nature documentaries..and the general trash
What kind of music do you like?
everything from Missy to Mozart...also Jazz, some folk, alot of female artists, very occasionally pop.
What type of foods do you like to eat?
I'm vegeterian, I have been all my life. I eat mostly organic food from local farms.
I love all world foods esp Greek, Japanese, and Thai
Do you consider yourself to be more of a conservative or liberal person?
Liberal, definatly surfing that left wing.
What do you like to do for fun?
ohhh....apart from Reiki?...write..watch movies...dance...talk with freinds...swim..go for walks...read..surf the internet. Have fun.

REIKI!!!!!!!!!Sci-fi. Spirituality. Ethnic/ cultural political issues. Feminism. Happiness. Love (not particularly romance, just love generally), life, wildlife, hmm..the list goes on......
What achievements in your life are you most proud of?
Being me. Travelling through India and Kashmir. Forgiving. Remebering the moment.

I found Reiki whilst travelling in India, and have been with Reiki since December 2000

Spiritual readings, chanelling, journeying. Spiritual life councilling.

I hold on going Usui Reiki training and healing as requested. I teach in a concentrated traditional Sensei/ student manner, and my charges are on a sliding scale depending on the commitment of the student.
I also hold 2 day seminar/ healing retreats every second weekend, in a country cottage near Brighton. Classes contain no more then five students, and include Aryuvedic food and overnight accomidation as well as an intensive healing programme.
