I first heard Reiki mentioned by my Tai Chi instructor, so I had a quick look on the internet and thought "no". Then months later I looked again and thought "yes". Since then, I've read lots, books and the internet and have been attuned to all three degrees. But I would not call my-self a Master, so I'm sticking with the Reiki III label.

I visited this caf� before I attended my Reiki first degree attunement, and have found it very informative and friendly, I have now decided to add my voice.

What do you do for a living?

What religions or philosophies of life do you believe in?

Nothing specific, just live to your own moral code.

What are your favorite books?

No favorites, just so many to get through.

What type of books do you like to read?

Factual self improvement books (nutrition, Reiki etc), autobiographies and travel witting. In the car I listen to Wilbur Smith and Ian Rankin, if I cannot find a factual audio book.

What type of movies or television shows do you watch?

As little as possible.

What kind of music do you like?

Various, Pink Floyd, Queen.

What type of foods do you like to eat?

Chicken, fish, vegetarian more for health than principle.

Do you consider yourself to be more of a conservative or liberal person?

Liberal, but not political.

What do you like to do for fun?

Walk on the hills and in woods, forests and near water.

What are some of your interests?

Walking, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, entertaining the children.

What achievements in your life are you most proud of?

Raising my children to be independent intelligent and confident.

How did you find Reiki and how long have you been involved with Reiki?

My Tai Chi instructor mentioned it in passing, along with crystals and chackra. When I first looked into Reiki, I wsa not sure, then months later I looked into Reiki again and thought I must do this. So I was attuned to Reiki I in November 2002.

What style or styles of Reiki do you practice?

Usui

What other (if any) healing modalalites have you practiced besides Reiki?

Looking into Shiatsu.
