I recieved my first Reiki attunement In August of 2002. I didn't have a clue about what I was doing, I just knew that I could help my brother who has Lou Gherrig's Disease, and on a respirator. I was doing this for him, how could I have ever known it would be the greatest thing that ever happened to ME! A month later, I did Reiki II, and III, 6 weeks later, although I do not plan to teach until I see my brother through his journey.

What do you do for a living?
I am an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant,,,,I follow behind the DDS and fill up the holes he drills!! and when the teeth are beyond saving, I assist with Oral Surgery.
What religions or philosophies of life do you believe in?
I was born and raised Baptist, but have recently found out, that's just the tip of the iceburg!
What are your favorite books?

What type of books do you like to read?
Used to read alot of Novels, but now anything to do with Self Help, and Finding my inner self, and anything I can get my hands on about Reiki, and Angels.
What type of movies or television shows do you watch?
Usually anything my husband is watching, I love "Trading Spaces"
My favorite movie is Phenomenon, and anything else with John Travolta.
What kind of music do you like?
Mostly Country or the Old rock and roll from the 70"s Brings back good memeories from when My hubby and I were dating and first married. But if it's just background music, it will be a relaxation CD.
What type of foods do you like to eat?
Anything my hubby cooks! We try to eat high protien, low carb stuff!
My youngest is type I diabete so We try to watch the sweets.
Do you consider yourself to be more of a conservative or liberal person?
Couldn't tell ya,, I'm just ME
What do you like to do for fun?
I love to shop second hand stores, flea markets and garage sales,, unbellievable what you can find. I hate to grocery shop, but my hubby loves to. We love going to concerts, fishing, and we are BIG RACE FANS!
What are some of your interests?
Racing mainly is all my family does in the spring, summer and fall. My son started racing in go-carts at the age of 15,,now 7 yrs later,you can watch him on TV, in the Locke Motorsports #01 ARCA car.
What achievements in your life are you most proud of?
My son's racing Career, and my Marriage, and my wonderful 3 children.
I'm the mother of a very healthy 19 yr old Diabetic son!
I am anxious to see what we can achieve now that I know how the universal energy works.

How did you find Reiki and how long have you been involved with Reiki?
My Aunt worked for 3 days with a lady who is "an energy healer" and she got to talking about her nephew, (my brother), who has Lou Gherrig's Disease. After his second treatment with him, she felt he needed Reiki more often than she could travel to him, so as a tithe, she was willing to teach a family member for free. I volunteered, without knowing what I was doing. I had never heard of Reiki until I was given "The Healing Touch" manuel by Wm Lee Rand. That was in Aug 2002. I did Reiki II in Sept, and III in November.
