How did you find Reiki and how long have you been involved with Reiki?
I learned about Reiki from reading a book. It reminded me of the "strange" energy things I was able to do as a child....thus I wanted to take a class and did.
I live in rural Oklahoma,amazingly I found a Reiki teacher right here in Oklahoma - Edmond, to be exact. (that would translate to the 'sticks') :) She was even listed in the back of the book I initially read. I tood Reiki 1st and 2nd Degrees in 1987.
I had no intention of ever becoming a Master/Teacher. But, in fact did take the Master and Teacher levels in 1995 and 1996.
What style or styles of Reiki do you practice?
I've studied both traditional and non-traditional styles of Reiki. (If you are interested in more on this from me then email and I'll talk about it.
In retrospect, I'm grateful for the years of practice between my 2nd degree training and the Master/Teacher degree training. I think I can honestly say that I pushed myself and "2nd degree" farther than most. It wasn't until after taking the M/T degrees and other energetic studies that I came to appreciate what I had learned thru experience with my years of 2nd degree.
What other (if any) healing modalalites have you practiced besides Reiki?
I started my studies in Seichim and Sekhem in 1997. Completed the M/Teacher Levels in both in November of 1999.

I don't have a class schedule. I teach mostly as am contacted or needed. I have and do travel to teach Sekhem classes.
